How to Make Weight Loss Soup

How to Make Weight Loss Soup

Losing weight is simple: Simply eat more healthy food and less junk food while getting more exercise and burning calories. Soup recipes provide a tasty way to eat more vegetables and get more fiber in your diet. Replace a few meals a week with a chicken and vegetable soup, and you can easily lose a pound or two in a healthy way. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

    1

Personalize this recipe according to your own tastes. Add more of your favorite vegetables, and less of your least favorites.

    2

Put water and chicken pieces into a pot. Add lemon juice to help extract calcium from the chicken bones, an onion and celery. Let boil for about an hour. Once the chicken is completely cooked, strain the water for the soup, and set aside the chicken. Throw out the vegetables. Clean chicken off the bones once it has cooled and save for later.

    3

Chop all vegetables coarsely into small pieces. Using a food processor would be best for the amount of chopping that is required for this soup.

    4

Add all vegetables into the leftover water used to cook the chicken. Let the soup simmer for at least a half hour with a couple cubes of bullion or salt. Use an immersion blender for a few seconds to thicken the soup.

    5

Clean chicken from bones and cut into small, bite-sized pieces

    6

Add the crushed tomatoes and all seasonings to your own personal taste preference. Add chicken pieces and a couple tablespoons of olive oil.

    7

Serve soup and top with freshly squeezed lemon juice, salt, pepper and a bit of Parmesan.
